operates in the natural gas gathering, processing, transmission and
distribution industries – related, yet distinct, businesses. The company
owns and/or operates more than 15,000 miles of interstate natural gas
pipelines serving wholesale natural gas customers in major U.S. markets,
approximately 4,600 miles of gathering pipelines and also serves more than
half a million natural gas end-user customers through its utility operating
divisions. In addition, SUG owns and operates one of the nation’s largest
